What made you decide to start 4th + Fir?

Through my travels and adventures, one thing was constant: I kept losing hair to terrible knots and tangles around my elastics. Something had to be done that didn’t involve a damaging hair tie or a weak/cheaply made scrunchie. Coincidentally, it was mid-2020 and I had some time to invest into the research and experimentation that was necessary to figure out the perfect scrunchie recipe.

What is your process like?

I am proud to create these scrunchies from beginning to end, all by myself. Each fabric is hand-selected, hand-cut, sewn and finished by yours truly. I take immense pride in providing extremely high quality and consistent scrunchies that you reach for every day, and that you look forward to gifting to your loved ones.

What is your favourite thing about 4th + Fir?

I love working with my hands! 4th + Fir started off as a fun hobby and quickly revealed itself as a way to connect with incredible people and businesses. I feel blessed to provide my customers with a product that they could use every single day, all around the world.

What is your life like outside of 4th + Fir?

That’s a big question! I’d say that my favourite things in life are going on adventures, reading books, getting active and thrift shopping. I’m attached to my Kindle and am always looking for new books to read.
